We can witness micrometeoriods commonly as they enter earth’s atmosphere- appearing as brief meteor showers in our night sky. The NASA James Web Space telescope suffered an unavoidable micrometeoroid strike to one of the primary mirror segments, but this was to be expected and was prepared for!
