NASA’s Artemis 1 launch of the Orion spacecraft is first phase the Artemis mission to the moon to study the far side of the moon. In the next few years of these missions, “NASA will land the first woman and the first person of color on the Moon, paving the way for a long-term lunar presence and serving as a steppingstone to send astronauts to Mars.” -NASA
