The Barringer Crater Company Visits JPL

Led by Dr. Adrian Tang, JPL’s System-on-Chip Architect for Science Instrumentation, Barringer Crater Company CEO Jennie Wadsworth took a full tour of Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s facility including the chips lab, the Mars rover field, the various workshops where they build the rover components, and mission control. Dr. Tang was the lead scientist on a recent trip to The Barringer Meteorite Crater (August 2025) to test the broad-band ground penetrating radar he is developing in order to identify water under the surface of the Moon and Mars. He hopes to return to do more ground-penetrating radar tests with helicopters they are currently developing for the surface of Mars.
