This is to introduce you to the 2021 Barringer Lecture Award Recipient at the 2021 Meteorological Society Conference: Leslie Rogers. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics at the University of Chicago. She earned an Honors BSc in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Ottawa and a PhD in Physics from MIT. She has been awarded a NASA Hubble Fellowship, NASA Sagan Fellowship, and RCSA Cottrell Scholar Award.

Her research focuses on theoretical and numerical studies of the formation, interior structure, and evolution of exoplanets. Her presentation at the 2021 Meteoritical Society Conference titled Glimpsing the Exoplanet Composition Distribution, focuses on deriving information from imaging and tracking the motion/wobble of exoplanets, from which we may derive composition information, which in turn informs us how they formed originally.
