Great News for Visitors to Barringer Meteorite Crater: Scheduled Re-Opening!

The world famous Arizona attraction Meteor Crater will reopen on May 21, 2020, to once again welcome travelers from near and far to explore and learn about the world's best preserved meteor impact site. Since the beginning of April the entire Meteor Crater attraction and the nearby Meteor Crater RV Park  have been closed as we, along with you, have sheltered in place due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The State of Arizona has lifted these restrictions effective May 15, 2020, and we are now able to welcome space enthusiasts and fans of science to once again experience the magic of an authentic meteorite impact crater one mile wide and over 500 feet deep. Starting May 21, 2020, we will be fully open. Your admission means you can enjoy an educational tour of the Crater, experience Collision! Our 4D theater, shop for amazing space and regional merchandise in our gift shop and enjoy delicious food and drink from the Blasted Bistro.

We are also happy to announce that the Meteor Crater RV Park will be reopening on May 16, 2020! Please make your RV reservations online here.
