Covid-19 Update: Meteor Crater Was Closed to Visitors from April 1 - May 21, 2020

The Governor of Arizona issued a state wide Stay at Home order which temporarily closed the visitor center. It is now reopened.

Message from CEO Meteor Crater Enterprises:

“Dear Visitor:

As the threat of the Coronavirus has grown in Arizona the Governor has issued a state wide "Stay at Home" Order effective 5PM March 31, 2020. To comply with this order Meteor Crater will be closing indefinitely so that we do our part to protect our visitors and employees. Meteor Crater has been serving the interest of space and earth science enthusiasts for decades, and we are not going anywhere. We will continue to develop our attraction to provide you a world class experience as you explore space and meteorite science. And when the doors open  again and you are all ready to rediscover the wonders of Meteor Crater, we will be back and better than ever.

From our family to your family, we wish you a safe and healthy journey through this health crisis.”
