Barringer Family Fund grant recipient, Catherine Ross is currently working on her Ph.D. at the University of Texas at Austin studying the Chicxulub impact structure and the associated Cretaceous-Paleogene mass extinction boundary layers. She is interested in how punctuated events in Earth’s history are preserved in the rock record.
