From WISE to NEOWISE: Reassigned Asteroid-Hunting Space Telescope

NASA has announced the 2009 WISE (Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer) Space Telescope has a new mission and a new name: NEOWISE (Near Earth Object Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer)! The mission has been expanded two more years to hunt for asteroids and comets, especially those which might include earth trajectories. Read the NASA feature Here
